Why A.Q Trading
Buy like you're standing
in the auction hall
Most exporters show you a listing. We show you the whole Japanese market — with the evidence to judge it.
01
Real auction access
Direct bidding at USS, TAA and JU auction halls nationwide — around 140,000 vehicles weekly. You choose from the whole market, not a dealer's forecourt.
02
Okayama inspection
Every purchase crosses our own lift before shipping: paint-depth gauge, undercarriage photography, compression tests on performance engines, cold-start video.
03
Fixed FOB pricing
The quote you approve is the invoice you pay. Auction fee, inland transport, de-registration and export paperwork — itemised once, then fixed for 7 days.
Send a photo of any Japanese auction sheet — we return a plain-language translation within a few hours, free, no purchase required.
Export process — 輸出の流れ

Word travels well
The auction sheet came translated with honest notes about the repaired quarter panel — they talked me out of a shinier car with a worse sheet. The Evo landed exactly as described.
Third Alphard we've brought through AQ for our fleet. Fixed FOB quote, KEBS inspection handled in Japan, and Mombasa clearance paperwork was flawless every time.
I watched the cold-start video at midnight and paid the deposit by morning. Sixteen days later the Jimny was in Auckland. Fastest big purchase I've ever made, and the least stressful.
Before you ask
Questions buyers actually have
A refundable deposit (typically US$1,000) activates auction bidding. On a winning bid you receive the invoice at the agreed FOB price — payable by bank transfer to our Japanese corporate account. Nothing is due before you approve the exact car and auction sheet.
Always. Every candidate vehicle comes with the original Japanese auction sheet plus our translation and plain-language notes on grades, repair marks and interior scores. We never bid without your written approval.
From first consultation to vessel departure is typically 3–5 weeks: sourcing (1–2 weeks), inspection and documentation (about 1 week), then the next sailing. Transit time depends on your port — 14 days to the Gulf, around 30 to the UK or East Africa.
Yes — marine insurance covering the invoice value is included in every CIF quote and available on FOB shipments. Claims are rare on RoRo services, but you are covered from Japanese port to destination port.
We courier the original bill of lading, export certificate and invoice to you or your clearing agent, and provide translated documents your customs authority requires. In Mombasa, Southampton and Auckland we can introduce vetted clearing agents we work with weekly.
